Movin'

Time to move again. I'm packing up the apartment here in Denver. It was hard to whittle down the stuff I have here to an amount that will fit in my little car, but I think I'm almost there. At the same time, it's strange that it's even possible to pack every moderately significant thing you've accumulated into a hatchback. I shouldn't be so confidant I guess cause I haven't actually done a test-pack yet. But who the hell does a test-pack? I guess I do. It's gonna be tight.

I've got some excellent music planned for the trip. I picked up The National CD the other day and Christ it's good. I think my neighbors probably know all the words. There's a couple of mp3s over on Amazon that you can download if you log into your account there.

I'll be getting to NYC around the 1st of July -- that's the current plan at least. But on the way I'll visit Drew out in Kentucky, Heather in Ohio, my parents in DC, and finally make my way out to New York. That's a lot of miles. At the Beginning of May my car was out in LA. By the end of June it will be in NYC. There was also a trip to Ohio there at the end of May too. So it's been an awful lot of driving lately. Even with so much of it as of late, I'm still looking forward to getting back in my car for this trip. I'm not sure where or when I became such a fan of cross-country driving, but it's to the point I almost think I should become a trucker...and then I quickly decide that's probably not the best plan.
