Historic Denver

Wow. I ran across photowest.org tonight and I will likely spend days looking through just the portion of it that pertains to Denver before I start exploring Colorado in general. The city must have been beautiful back then - not that it's not now, but there was no urban sprawl at the turn of the century. Plains and mountains are what you met when you left the city. Here's ten shots I quickly picked out, but I'll probably have to revisit this post because I explored only 5% of what's there in an hour and a half. Noteworthy finds:
Cabbage accident
Boxer
Caribou
Mountain view
Cityscape girls
WWI parade
Mountain park
Gate Rubber plant - down the street from me.
Mayan Theatre - my favorite theatre.
City scene
