Thus begins (or maybe continues) the webbings of Ben. I've had personal sites in the past, but man they've been ugly and hard to keep up. I'm making the move to the 'blog' because it's really what a modern personal web page is. Call it a blog if you want, but it's just a place for my stuff out on the Internet. Previously, I put up pictures I took and linked to projects I was working on on a hard to maintain page built with sloppy HTML and a total disregard for presentation. Moveable Type (the backend of this site) helps a lot with both of those shortcomings in my previous efforts. Additionaly, I've gained the ability to have a more dynamic space out here. Before I had to build the pages by scratch for each thing I was trying to present. The templatification of this site should make that procedure obsolete - I hope. There's a time and a place for ground up construction, but when you just trying to get stuff out there to be viewed for the sake of sharing an idea or expressing something, the lower the barrier to entry the better. So, we'll see what comes up here.

Note, the photos link isn't working - well it's working I guess, but there's nothing there. It's a work in progress.
